Installing Life Portraits ES Software on PC with Windows Vista Operating System (with CD)

I. User Accounts:

1. Prior to downloading software, sign on to your PC as Administrator. If only one user created on the PC, then make sure this user has administrative rights. To verify administrative rights:

2. From the Start Menu, Click on Control Panel

3. Click on User Accounts

4. Click on User Accounts – verify the User Account, to the right of the screen, shows Administrator. If not signed on as Administrator.

II. Installing the software:

1. Insert CD into CD-ROM Drive, please wait a few seconds while the system automatically locates your CD-ROM drive.

2. If software does not automatically load:

a. Click on the Windows Icon (bottom left)

b. Click on Computer

c. Click on CD-ROM Drive

d. Double click on Setup.exe file

3. If you receive a message stating that an unidentified program wants to access your computer, click on Allow (program will starting loading)

4. A Welcome screen is displayed, click the Next button

5. The Customer Information screen is displayed, enter your name and company name as Shenandoah Life, then click on Next

6. If you have previously installed Shenandoah Life software, proceed to step 7. If this is the first time installing Shenandoah Life software, proceed to step 6.

7. The Choose Destination Location screen is displayed, click Next

8. The Start Copying Files screen is displayed click Next. You’ll see the status of the software being installed.

9. The Maintenance Complete screen is displayed. Click on Finish.

10. You’ll see a new Shenandoah Life icon on your desktop. Double click on the new icon to open the illustration system.
